We all share the relief of Palestinians in Gaza who have endured two years of genocide. But the possible end of mass slaughter does not mark justice. 

 1. The US and Israel would not have agreed even now to halting their genocidal war but for the international mobilisation in defence of the Palestinian people. 

 2. The proposed peace plan does not end Israel’s occupation and denial of Palestinian self-determination.

 3. We in Sheffield, as part of the international solidarity movement, will continue to work for the Palestinian people’s struggle for justice to remain a central issue of our time. 

4. We will campaign for all those who have colluded in Israeli genocide over the past two years to be held to account.

5. We will pursue with increased vigour the international isolation of Israel until this apartheid state is dismantled and the Palestinian people’s rights are fully realised.

6. We demand that the British Government assists in  immediate emergency relief, independently of Israeli control.
