The Jewish National Fund (JNF) has had a place at previous\nCop Conferences, we aim to stop it attending Cop26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nJNF reputation as an environmental responsible body rests on its creation of\nparks, its planting of trees and its creation of reservoirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nParks \u2013 Cover the ethnic cleansing \u2013 prevent a Palestinian return <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nJewish National Fund was set up in 1901 to obtain land in Palestine for the exclusive\nuse of Jews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Yossef Weitz\nwas   was the powerful director of the Jewish National Fund\u2019s Land\nSettlement Department between 1932 and 1948.  He made three things clear.\nThe Zionists must ethnically cleanse the Palestinians.[i]<\/a>   The Palestinians must be\nprevented from returning[ii]<\/a> and that after the destruction of the\nPalestinian villages Jewish settlements or parks would be put in their place.[iii]<\/a>The Jewish National Fund\u2019s park building\nenabled Israel to say to Palestinian refugees and the world that the land is\nbeing used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British Park<\/strong>[viii]<\/a> \u2013 was built on two destroyed\nPalestinian villages.  In 2020,  Khalud al Ajarma, appeared before a\nBritish court. She had documents showing that her family and others owned the\nland that the JNF UK had claimed as a Park.  She complained that a British\nCharity had stolen or received stolen land, she was told that she had no\nstanding to complain about the charity. JNF official Michael Katorza stated<\/a> \u201ca large portion of\nJNF parks are on lands where Palestinian villages used to stand, and the\nforests are intended to camouflage this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jewish Journal informs<\/a> us \u201cIn a land where even\ntrees have become politicized as part of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the\npine tree has become emblematic of a renewed Jewish presence here, while the\nolive tree has become a symbol of the Palestinians\u2019 ties to the land.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truth is that the Olive tree is better suited than the Pines that were planted.\u00a0 In 2020\u00a0<\/a>\u201cIn an extensive survey conducted by the KKL-JNF, it was found that about 30 percent of the Jerusalem [Aleppo] pine have died in the country\u2019s various forests,\u201d explains Prof. Menachem Moshelion.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water Apartheid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Israel won the 1967 war, it took over all of\nPalestine\u2019s water infrastructure.  It\ndestroyed Palestinian pipelines, wells, cisterns at will.  While Palestinian water infrastructure is\nbeing weakened Israel sunk wells and built reservoirs and denies Palestinian access\nto the river Jordan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are two massive JNF sponsored reservoirs that\nfeed water to the illegal Zionist settlements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result of the water Apartheid is that Palestinians consume less than\nthe WHO recommended minimum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
