1. Emergency Relief Fund<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To contribute to its work please use\u00a0the\u00a0Give As You Live<\/a>\u00a0fundraising page.<\/strong> Here you can find regular updates<\/a> on how the funds are used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fund was set up as a result of the terrible destruction in Gaza inflicted by the Israel army and air force since October 2023 by Sheffield Palestine Solidarity Campaign .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musheir El Farra (pictured above in Gaza), who is a UK citizen and lives in Sheffield , was in Gaza when the genocide started. He was able to assemble a network of people in order to co-ordinate relief work – food parcels shelter and clothing – for displaced families. This trusted network has continued its work throughout the genocide and in the UK the fund is now adminstered by Sheffield Palestine Cultural Exchange (SPaCE). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPaCE is a registered charity<\/a> that helps children in Gaza and the Occupied Territories by both providing funds to improve health play and cultural facilities and by raising awareness in Sheffield of the living conditions faced by young people living in Gaza and the Occupied Territories.

SPaCE will provide regular updates<\/a> on the emergency relief it provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
