Israel’s illegal apartheid wall

Its 12 years since the racist Apartheid regime in South Africa fell and 17 years since the Berlin wall came down; yet today a new Wall is being built. It is the Israeli Apartheid Wall that snakes through Palestine dividing people from their land, families and businesses. It is already 145km long and up to 8 metres high. Eventually it will be 400km long and annex nearly 50% of the West Bank.

History

For the last 50 years Israel has systematically stolen Palestinian lands, constructed illegal Israeli settlements, flattened olive groves, stolen the water, and treated any resistance with. The wall steals yet more land and makes a Palestinian State economically and politically unviable.

The wall is Illegal – "a crime against humanity"

In 2004 the International Court of Justice in The Hague declared The Wall illegal. The wall also violates United Nations charters and the Geneva conventions.

Why does it matter to us?

We should not accept a world where the strong take what they want. Israel’s possession of nuclear weapons and systematic brutality make the world a more dangerous place. Britain and the USA fund and arm Israel stand by while Israel ignores SIXTY FIVE United Nations resolutions. The occupation and world’s abandonment of the Palestinian people is driving them into the arms of Hamas.

What you can do – let’s isolate Israel like we did racist South Africa!

We need to let people know Israel is not a civilised State. Isolating White South Africa helped destroy Apartheid. The same can be done to bring down Israel’s Apartheid wall and deliver justice Palestine. Its clear Israel won’t deliver justice, so it’s down to the international community to force them to.
