Break the siege
August 2008: Break the Siege of Gaza: International Free Gaza campaign. A boat will be sailing from Cyprus to the Gaza Strip to attempt non violently to break the Israeli imposed blockade of the Gaza Strip and demonstrate active solidarity with the beseiged Palestinians living under desperate conditions within the Strip.
A member of Sheffield Palestine Solidarity Campaign will be one of the passengers on board! We will be arranging an official send off on August 2nd from Sheffield. We will then hold a celebration in Sheffield city centre on or around 8th August to celebrate the boat's arrival in the port of Gaza. Details of both events to follow shortly. We will also be sending with the boat messages of support to our friends throughout the Gaza Strip.
