PSC Open forum - March session
An opportunity for new and existing supporters to find out more about specific areas of our work
To be held every four months in the café at the Showroom. Subsequent sessions on: * Wednesday 27 June 2012 and * Wednesday 31 October 2012
7 – 9 pm (with optional extra hour for informal discussion till 10pm)

7 pm Registration and opportunity to buy coffee from bar next door
7.15 – 8.00 Film: The Palestinians - Edward Said (45 minutes)
8.00 - 8.15 Brief introduction to our work (inclduing BDS, Women & Palestine/Women's Scholarship Fund and what we raise funds for (Children's Projects)
8.15 - 9.00 Small group discussion/workshops: Why does Palestine matter? There's plenty of trouble in the world: why single out Israel? Join us in discussions about Palestine - its history, Zionism, and Israel - and understand more about something few of us find easy! We'll be working in groups using books and newspapers, films and personal experiences, in an atmosphere where you can say what you want to say. At the end you'll know more, filled in some of the gaps, and be able to take an active part in Palestinian solidarity.
9.00 Feedback / close of formal session
9.15 Close + opportunity for informal discussion (with option of bringing coffee/drinks from the bar) until 10 pm.
